Here is a list of our most frequently asked questions.

What type of boat do you have for Chartered Cruises?

We have two boats – our Antaris 520, which is a 6-7 Seater, and our historic Old Met Police Boat which is a 10 Seater.

What type of boat do you have for Self-Drive boat hires?

Our self-drive boats are Whaly boats and we have three models:

  • Whaly 370  – 4 Seater

  • Whaly 435 – 6 Seater

  • Antaris 520 – 6-7 Seater

What is your cancellation policy?

As well as our standard cancellation T&Cs, we approach cancellation requests with empathy and understanding. We will look at this on a case by case basis and do our best to offer refunds or replace bookings with gift card vouchers that can be rebooked at a later time.

What happens to my trip when it rains?

If you cancel on the day due to rain the standard cancellation terms in our T&Cs will apply (this is part of boating). However, if there are gale force winds, torrential floods, etc, we will reschedule the trip for you.

What safety measures do you have in place?

We do safety briefings with every trip, provide life jackets, and have a rescue boat on standby. Additionally, we also have full insurance.

What Covid-19 measures are you taking?

Your health is our top priority and we have put special measures in place to keep all guests safe both during and after their activity.

  • Stringent Cleaning – We’ve increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces and high traffic areas between each charter and hire.
  • Social Distancing – Our charters and hires are all private, so you don’t have to worry about mixing with other groups. We also ensure that all staff members will be wearing the necessary PPE.
  • Wellness Checks – Employees receive daily wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing symptoms, we will work directly with you to cancel or reschedule your tour.

Where are you located?

We are located at Culden Faw Meadows on the Marlow Road, just outside of Henley.

Do you have toilets?

We advise people to use the toilet before the trip as we do not have a standard toilet. There is a portaloo in case of emergencies, but this tends not to be used.

Is there a Car Park nearby?

Yes, there is plenty of parking on-site.

Can I bring my own food?

Absolutely, and in fact whilst we can provide food and refreshments, we encourage it. 

Can I order a picnic?

Yes, we work with a number of local companies who can provide superb picnics, lunches and cream teas.

Can we bring our children?

Children are of course welcomed, but must be supervised and kept safe at all times, and lifejackets must be worn.

Lost property?

We clean all of our craft in-between charters and hires. We will have your details on file from the booking, so will endeavor to find and inform you of any property that is left behind. Alternatively, you can contact us about any lost property.

Can we bring our dogs?

We will look at having pets aboard on an ad-hoc basis, so please talk to us in advance.
